Day at the Hamptons

After spending one summer in Long Island, this summer we decided to explore the Hamptons. We went to Cooper's beach which is South Hamptons along meadow lane which is consider the "millionaires lane". Along this beach there are several multi million dollar houses. The parking fee was $40 per vehicle which we thought it was quite high for going to a beach; after all, after living in South Florida where all beaches are super nice, nice water, nice everything with no cost, the $40 seem a little high. Nonetheless, we paid and went in. We are very happy to enjoy a day where the beach was very quite, the water was nice (not as warm as Florida) and the sand was soft white. It was the closest we've seen since Florida. We truly enjoyed it and we all have a blast. The water was calm and you could walk quite a distance in shallow water.

We played in the sand with the toys, Maya had a good time walking around and feeling the sand on her feet. She even ventured to get wet in the water.

The boys took their kites and there was enough of a breeze to get them up high. The both loved it and one time Malachi lost his kite to the wind but fortunately we were able to catch it before it was lost.

We took a little walk along the beach where we saw some of those million dollar homes. In my opinion, there were very nice but not sure if I would valued them to 10-20 million dollar homes. I guess this was a very attractive location.
