February was good month for us. It's warmed up and we've fully welcomed the spring weather. We had a lot of rain and also some nice warm days. All winter long we went for a walk everyday if the temp was above freeing and not actively snowing or raining. But, being cold we really had to bundle up. Now that it's nice and warm we've really enjoyed walking/riding bikes in warm weather.
Levi is getting really good at riding his new bike. He is able to zip around and can even balance with his feet up. (He has a balance bike without pedals). We usually walk to the park, the canal tunnel, or a basketball court that frequently has puddles that Levi likes to ride in.
As Malachi drinks his bottles of milk he likes to lay and play with his blanket. Levi likes to lay next to him and copy what he does.
We are not afraid of messes at this house. Levi likes to have "sensory" play. It entertains him for quite a while and gives me a chance to do things I need. Most of the time he wants me to play with him and we both get messy.
Malachi is quite insistent that he get to do whatever Levi does!
Malachi usually drinks his milk hands-free. He likes something to fiddle with in his hands as he drinks.
Levi love love loves trains. We bought him more train tracks and a new train set. It's fun for both of us to make a great big track and zoom the trains around. Chasing my train around the track is one of his favorite things to do.
Malachi loves Adrian so much. He lights up when Adrian comes home and follows Adrian around anytime Adrian is home. He loves to rough play with Adrian and he usually eats a lot more for Adrian as well. Both boys know papa is for playing. They both love Adrian so much and love to be around him. They have a great papa who loves to play them!!
Malachi started walking this month! He walks most of the time and only crawls if he already down on the ground. He is still working on his balance and walks with his arms out like a zombie. He can even bend down and pick things up off the floor while standing.
He got a new pair of shoes and loves walking outside with his little walker. Levi loved to catch Malachi when Malachi was first learning to walk. He's such a helpful brother.
They are already allies in their trouble making!
Malachi will sit on his toys as he straddles them while walking over them.
Malachi will randomly came and lay on us. He is such a cuddly boy!!
Levi's helmet was a fun new toy.
In other news, Malachi got his two top teeth! Malachi has also started to really like to read books. He is preferring finger foods over pureed. He never likes to be left out or left behind. He will follow us around and get right in the middle of anything going on.
Levi is talking so well. He loves to read books and I will often catch him reading books to himself saying what's on the page word for word. He likes to do puzzles and often tells me "lets play something fun". He was doing a great job at potty training, but the last week it seems he's regressed a little. He has also been saying negative things about hurting people and making them sad. I'm a bit concerned, but hope he will grow of it. I try to teach him to make others happy. But I think when he get jealous he wants to make the person he is jealous of sad. I'm not really sure why he does it, but I'm working with him on it. He is such a fun kid to be around, full of energy and creativity. He constantly makes sound effects for what he's doing and I think it's great that he lets his imagination go wild!
